Arsenal Beat Bayern AS INTER SLUMPS To 2-1 DEFEAT IN MADRID
Arsenal thumped Bayern Munich 3-1 in a clash of the English and German
league leaders on Wednesday to maintain their perfect record in the Champions league this season.
The gunners dominated the second half after 17-year-old Lennart Karl pulled the Bundesliga team level with Noni Madueke restoring arsenal’s lead and fellow substitute Gabriel Martinelli taking advantage of a huge blunder from goalkeeper Manuel Neuer to make it 3-1.
Elsewhere, Inter Milian slumped to a painful 2-1 defeat against Atletico Madrid conceding a last-minute goal in a tense encounter. Liverpool lost 4-1 to PSV, PSG beat Tottenham 5-3 just as sporting beat club Brugge 3-0.
Real madrid also defeated Olympiacos 4-3, Copenhagen Beat Kairat 3-2 and Pafos and Monaco played a 2-2 draw while Eintracht Frankfurt lost 0-1 Atlanta with Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman opening scoring the 60th minute.
